I’m jerlendds, I’m a full-stack software developer. A generalist if you will. I like implementing rough drafts as quickly as I can. Later, I shape it into the final solution. I tend to follow up on my curiosities with never-ending research. I’m systems-oriented, a wannabe polymath, and I’m interested in the intersection of complexity, HCI/UI/UX, network graphs, privacy, the world wide web, neurotech, and the socio-technical implications of surveillance and autonomous systems. Sometimes I like to dissect the ‘connective tissue’ between low-level technical implementation and high-level philosophical inquiry for fun.

I also like to write and store ideas about the stuff I make and learn about. I’ve been passionate about and playing with technology and software since I was a child. From then until now I’ve spent huge amounts of time building software for businesses and myself. I tinker. I learn. Software let’s me do mostly whatever I want.

Various interests of mine

  • Typography / UI / UX design
  • Privacy / Encryption / Security
  • Property Graphs / RDF / Network Science
  • Neuroscience / Physics / Systems Thinking / Complexity / Chaos
  • Intellectual Property / Library Freedom
  • Collective Intelligence / Organizational Structures (Centralized, Decentralized, etc)
  • AI / Cybernetics / Neo-Cybernetics
  • Hacker Culture (model trains, poorly styled stylish websites, curiosity, reason, ingenuity, phone booths)
  • and various other things pique my interest too…

I offer software development services for small-to-medium sized teams. Are you working on something? Just want to chat? I’m available during the week to chat about stuff, from business, to tech, life and more. Send a message to me at jerlendds at osintbuddy dot com.
