Pick an arbitrary, stupid goal. Become totally involved with it and pursue it with vigor. And what happens to you in that pursuit is your life. Understand it’s stupid, but it’s not stupid to pursue. It’s the way to inject meaning into your life. Otherwise you’re left with this, ‘why bother?‘
I’m a big fan of any OSS software. I’m self-taught (aka no formal schooling) and I can’t take all the credit for learning on my own, I wouldn’t be where I am today without all the amazing individuals contributing and sharing their time, software, and various resources. OSINTBuddy
A web based link-analysis and data collection tool. First written in Python it has now been ported to Rust and an ElectronJS version is actively being worked on. You can expect a desktop app (ElectronJS) release soon
Trellis
A digital gardens tool for publishing a graph of markdown notes (e.g. obsidian) to the web
GPUG
A code exploration in building a network graph visualization library. Written in Rust and utilizing Zed’s GUI library named GPUI.
