A few months back I read the book SuperMinds (MIT) - By Thomas W. Malone. I want to eventually explore this concept further in other areas of society going over the pros and cons of different structures in different contexts. I’ve been very focused on collective intelligence in the realm of OSINT and cyber security but that’s not to say there’s no value for this concept in other industries, in fact I think the fusion of AI and collective intelligence will lead to transformations not even the boldest of us can imagine.
Edward O. Wilson once described the problem of humanity as having ‘Paleolithic emotions, medieval institutions, and god-like technology’. This is not a sustainable trajectory. The time is ripe for new, collectively-intelligent institutions. We hope you will join us in building them.
